Starting today, you’ll be able to accept premium trips (Uber Comfort) that have been scheduled by riders up to 7 days in advance.

You’ll know the approximate profit that you will earn before confirming a trip and can then plan your schedule in advance. To access the experience, please update the Uber driver app. With Uber Reserve, you get access to rides booked in advance.

Plan your week ahead

As always, you’re in control—confirm only the trips you want to take.

Know approximately what you’ll earn

See the estimated fare before you confirm the trip. The minimum fare a rider will pay is QAR 34, with a reservation fee of QAR 4 included.

Under Premium Reserve, you will need to arrive 5 minutes before the trip scheduled time, and wait an additional 5 minutes after the trip start time before you can cancel the ride and become eligible for a cancellation fee (which is equal to the minimum trip fare). A QAR 4 reservation fee will be charged to the rider, and it is meant to compensate you for the 5-minute waiting time.

Please also note that if the rider cancels within an hour of the trip start time, you will also be eligible for the minimum fare of the trip.

To get started on Uber Reserve, upgrade your Driver App and in the Menu, tap Reservations to view any requests or reservations.

Please remember the following safety precautions to help minimise the spread of COVID-19:

Wear a face covering while driving

Sanitise your hands and your vehicle at regular intervals and between trips

Remind riders to use the back seat in order to maintain social distancing
